Layla Wang founded Estara with a belief that extraordinary homes begin with extraordinary ideas. Each residence is conceived on its own terms, shaped by its site, developed in collaboration with world-renowned architects and designers, and built without compromise.

Raised in China in a family deeply rooted in development, Layla grew up watching her father spend more than three decades creating residential communities and major commercial, industrial and government projects. It instilled an early understanding of the permanence of what we build and the responsibility behind it.

Her path to Estara spans two continents, and an uncommon range of disciplines. Layla practiced civil and commercial law and later served as a district court judge. In the United States, she built a hospitality business in Hawaii, served in the U.S. Air Force specializing in contracting and acquisition, and pursued residential investment and development across the country.

Today, Layla brings those perspectives to Estara with a conviction that speculative development should never feel speculative. Each residence has its own architectural identity, bringing together exceptional talent to create a home that could belong nowhere else.
